Very nice Bob, thanks. Karma for you!

Marcel, you're missing the last step Bob mentioned. Select the section the document is supposed to appear before then check the box to include it on the same page.

You can view John's PDF's which he posted after the Template TPZ files. The PDF's allow you to see what a sample inspection using the template would look like.

John, it's all about the number of photos. I think it was David Andersen that long ago sent me a 98 page report of a 1902 home for an out of state client. It was a mess and loaded with photos.

Yes photos make a huge difference.  If they don't need to be in the report, I don't put them in.  Also I cut back on photos is if it is a repeated item.  And then sometimes I may put those in a couple of times.

my method is to take pictures of everything for notes so what ends up happening is I click all of them into material tabs if not defects so that I can view them upon opening a split screen PDF and HIP Client.
I then scroll down to view all my picture notes as I write the report.
This is a flawless method for me  that produces detailed ,but long reports.

Clients love them but the reports average almost 3 hours where as my original reports took closer to 1 and a half hours. (go figure) hahaha.

My next step is to recreate a report template that has all system materials in their own section or something Similar as edit would go faster.

Last step is for it to be appealing to the Client as extra time has meant extra biz. ;D

Sounds like your in the same boat I was/am in.  You will have to sit down and find a way to shorten you reporting time, yet still work for you.  That's what I've been doing.  My first step was to evaluate my prior template and the process of my report writing.

Then came the new template.  And soon will come a computer that I can use during the inspection.

I will then reevaluate how things and see what I need to do from there.

Marcel,

When you click Edit Documents and pull up the document is the section it's supposed to be in listed? If it is, when you click Generate Report it will show up. Make sure you Save Template so that the change will be there next time you go in the program. If you still have an issue let me know and I'll do a remote session with you.
