I have one which is useful for tight closets where attic access may be located. I have a Little Giant folding ladder 21' or 24' I'm not sure. That is my main ladder. I special ordered it at The Home Depot.

I do not have a telescoping ladder. It looks like it maybe nice. Have to look at it closer. It just looks like they could collapse easily while your are on it. I'm sure that isn't the case or they would not sell them.

To all the guys using Telesteps and Little Giants. Do you guys walk roofs? The Inspector that I mentor with ALWAYS walks the roof. I feel that some of the roofs that we go on are questionable. Do You make a habit of going on the roofs? These folding ladders might be a little small for roof access.

I have used a telescoping ladder since 2007. Its served me well and recommend it highly. Purchased it at www.target.com . Got to watch the digits so they dont get pinched. I walk every roof weather permitting. To lazy to move the ladder around the house. LOL

By the way, a good camera with zoom will get you into those 2nd story areas on a metal roof.

I walk roofs 6/12 and under, as long as it appears to be safe, anything over a 6 gets a little trickey with traction. That's where a good camera and a set of binoculars come in handy.
