I do not have a telescoping ladder. It looks like it maybe nice. Have to look at it closer. It just looks like they could collapse easily while your are on it. I'm sure that isn't the case or they would not sell them.

Uhhh no!  I hav a buddy that bought one of those peices of junk and it collapsed on him!
Maybe he didn't put it together properly but so what?  I use a little giant and your basic 5 foot step ladder for the attic space

Cheers

If you go with the telescopic ladders, always go for the wide step, 300 lb version.  More stable and comfortable.

I walk all the roofs I can.  I do have a 26' LG but rarely take it with me.  The 14.5' Telesteps is very comfortable for single story.  Two story are a hit or miss.  Some I walk, some I don't.  Depends on the room I have for ladder set up and take down and the angle.  Some lots only have 6 feet on the side yard with a 2 foot overhang.  Not enough room to properly position the ladder except at the gable ends and then you are looking at a lot higher climb.  When in doubt, binoculars work wonders.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.
