Why can't the template have pre-selected comments? Why must there be a separate merge file? Come on guys this has been requested several times. Seems simple enough to have a check box in setup to keep the selected comments.

We did that on purpose as it's WAY more powerful. Instead of having several completely separate templates that would end up forking into different directions and be difficult to maintain, you can setup an inspection exactly as you want both boxes checked, photos added, narratives added and merge them into the same template. That way you could have a 100+ year old house, new construction, condo, etc, inspections all setup and then merge any of them into your template. This ensures you always have that data into the latest version of your template. It's exactly what you want and requires two clicks, Import/Merge Inspection, select the file!

Hey a bug I found with the merge (Red Box). After I merge it adds a duplicate of the highlighted comment to the bottom of the list. It only does it to the second comment box.

Did the same comment exist in both inspections?

Yes. It will add the highlighted comment from report #1 to the end of the comment list of report #2 after merging even though its all ready there.

Does it do this with all other comments, or just this one?
