TOPIC: Marketing- Active Rain

Hello to all, this is my first post so bare with me.

I was talking to a good realtor friend of mine the other day, and we were talking about marketing in these down times. He mentioned a website that he is having great luck on as a realtor. The website is www.activerain.com .

On this website realtors blog back and forth about buisness, and basiclly become connected with each other. Kind of a myspace for realtors.

They also have a refferal section where prospective customers can come and look up realtors, INSPECTORS, appraisers, etc.

The best part it's all FREE....... or at least everything I've found so far. So check it out.

By the way, they have a points system for how much you use the site. These points get you on top of the list for the people in the area. I was just on their and noticed your advertisement. Still everyone who isn't on their should get on their. Or what about us making a group? What do you think

Not much of a reason to have a group as it would just become a message board like here. Bob Elliot did start a report software group that I check out. Of course that was before he switched to HIP so now it's more of an inspection group.
