TOPIC: Report Delivery Method Question

Do you use only online pdf format for your reports to your customers?  or do you still print them and prepare an actual hard copy, and if so do you make it nice in a binder and all that nice stuff?  What is your preferred method?

Write report in Word, convert to PDF, and email to client.  No hardcopy. 

I have had a view clients who do not have email.  Most have an agent who does, so email to agent who prints report for client.  1yr Warranty clients without email can have a hardcopy.  I have printed about 10 reports in 5 years.

Thanks Bruce for your speedy reply.  I do use and am a big fan of Home Inspector Pro for the actual report, I'm just torn between emailing and delivering it as a pdf online or making a nice hard copy presentation in a printed report and even a www.nachi.org/now   book all in a nice hard binder?  I mean the total cost is only 6-7 is bucks and (my wife) claims it is a much more professional method?  Just not sure what others are doing, thus looking for many opinions.

I use HIP to compile report data onsite. Upload photos, proof read at home and email as PDF. If you print out onsite expect to pay a lot on ink.

I provide a binder package onsite for my clients to use for report, maintenance and record keeping. I get referrals and positive comments about my method and package.

Never had a problem with sending an email.

Like stated once in awhile the client has no email and i mail a hardcopy.

I think David's method is a good compromise between the two. Give them the binder and they can print themselves and insert it.

Yeah Iam thinking of doing that.  Give a binder which includes some of my info/promo stuff, along with nachis book www.nachi.org/now   and let them print the report as soon as I send them the link to it, or my wife suggests figuring in a 6 ish dollar amount to my price and just give the full blown binder, report,. book and all the stuff as part of my standard deal.  Humm..oh what to do..hahaha :
