TOPIC: Booby Traps and Land Mines

Re: Booby Traps and Land Mines 14 years 5 months ago #24580

The only drawback to the alarm is I keep leaving them behind.  ;)  I had no problem for about a year but in the last month I have left the alarm behind 3 times!  Takes a couple of days to hook back up and pick up the alarm from the inspection.  Right now I have two in the truck and two out in the field.

The idea of an essential tool list is interesting.  I have seen several posts on other forums where Newbies ask what tools they must have.  The list usually starts out simply.  Then others add in trinkets to make the job easier, or extend the level of service, etc.  Some inpsectors have lots of stuff that only leaves the truck once a year but feel it necessary to have just in case.  Things like fire extingishers, plumb bobs, levels, gas sniffers, etc.

I have a plastic tote that has a bunch of stuff rattling around in the bottom that I carried at one time but no longer.  Or is a backup in case my primary fails.  I was thinking just the other day that I need to clean out the tote because it is overflowing.  Maybe today would be a good day.  Nah.  maybe tomorrow.

Don't forget the compass to be able to evaluate the feng shui.
