TOPIC: Layer 8

Hey Dom I am having a layer 8 problem loading some new software I have the CD from the MFG but It will not load just gets to the point of verification and then unloads. My computer exceeds the requirements of the software any suggestions

How old is this software? What operating system was it made for and what do you have?

Oh you are familiar with layer 8 are you ;D ;D I up graded my IR camera from flir the software came with the camera suppose to be for XL and vista I had to install a upgraded video card my Cp only had a 64 We upgraded to 250 something had My son pick out the proper card I guess I will just have to call Flir on Monday for support its doing some funky things. I am still operating with a Windows XL

You mean you're running on Windows XP? Sounds like a bug on Flir's end. Something you'll need to call them on.

Charlie, did you go to Flir.com and download the new version?

There is a SP2 version on the net and they send out SP1.

I loaded SP2 last month from their camera registration portal.

Yes I downloaded sp2 from the Flir Site and it still does the same thing something on my Cp that it does not like when it vertifies
