Video must be taken in landscape mode. If not you have to rotate it outside of HIP for now. I'll send you the latest beta shortly which probably fixes your video issue. I had the same issue on my Samsung Note. Samsung uses different video/camera code than any other Android device and it's always the last to work because of it.

How are you copying/pasting comments? I had been working on that feature but it's not active in the beta. I just tested and I couldn't get the prompt up. What are you doing?

I'm not copying and pasting. When I try it shuts down the app. The older versions allowed it, but not this version. I really would like that fixed, I am tired of that dang error and having to go back and make sure I didn't lose my info and images.

Video doesn't work in landscape either, It does the same thing as already stated. Is that why my MAC quicktime player wont play it? I tried to rotate the video I took outside of the app and when I rotated it I got a black screen. I clicked play and I have audio, but no video.

Mike, HOW were you copying and pasting? Are you long holding somewhere? Are you just talking about when editing a comment and just dragging over the text and right clicking? I've never of anything like this so I need details.

Yup, I realize it won't work on your device, that's what I was saying in the last post (and the beta testing email actually). I'll get you the latest beta out shortly to see if you can get it working with the changes we made.

Nevermind, I was able to replicate it! It must have something to do with the latest Android API we're using. We are looking into it.

This thread is a little old but I have an issue with the new HIP mobile...

I got an email last week and downloaded HIP 4.2 PC and the new HIP on mobile.  It worked great but did crash occasionally. I had some time this morning and had apps that needed to be updated.  I did the updates and noticed the HIP was updated this morning.  It tells me it is HIP Mobile Version 4.0.1.  I am running it on a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android version 4.4.4.

In this new version today, when I edit an item, the menu (Cancel, List, Save) is hidden behind the list or the keyboard.  In the previous versions, when a list or the keyboard was opened, the menu would slide up to the top of the list or keyboard.  That saved a click every time I edited an item.  Please change it back so that the menu is visible when a list or keyboard are open.  Thanks.
