Are there any plans for video in Hip or Hip Mobile?

Do you have to use the cloud or can you use another service like justcloud or others?

Yes, and Yes.

You have to use HIP Cloud. Cloud is a general term. Our cloud is a bunch of servers Amazon runs that we pay to run programs to convert mobile and desktop formats back and forth and to store all the data.
