TOPIC: Photo Position

Photo Position 12 years 2 months ago #46826

I batch add my photos into the report but don't always take them in the order I want them to appear. I think it would be real useful if you could move the pics up and down like you can comments in a damage panel.

Yup, it's on the to-do list. We already made the photos draggable within the sections, just need to finish up the save, reorder routine.

Yes when you have the slideshow option enabled (look under Report Settings->Options->Photo Editing). But it doesn't change anything yet when you drag them around, it will soon.

This is a first for me, after about 4 years of using HIP.. Last night I was creating a report and I scrolled up top to the tabs to click on the next section. I accidentally hit the "edit template" button and lost everything. Is there some kind of protection that can be put in place so if we hit one of HIPs buttons we don't loose everything?

Hitting Edit Template will not cause you to lose anything. You can click Edit Template all day long. In fact since there is no real template mode, you have to hit edit template at some point! Something else must have happened and I'd need to know more about what was going on to diagnose it. Did you just click Open Inspection to open your last save point and continue working from where you last saved?
