TOPIC: Inspection report numbering

I got into the habit when i first started inspecting, holdover from my previous work so it came naturally to have a file number, report number, some way to be able to quickly find the file.
I use the following format- year, followed by 4 digit consecutive inspection number, then address.
Inspection number comes out looking like this 2017-2668-1642 ECR 196
2017 is the year of the inspection, makes it easy to figure out what year
2668 is the number of inspections that I have performed counting this inspection
1642 ECR 196 is the address
