Thanks Will.  I added my name to the vendor's list.

As to the mortgage "help," do the math.  Of course it will do nothing.  Why chase bad money with good?  Did you hear Santanelli's rant on CNBC?  Very good, very telling.  Essentially he said why prop up those who drink the water?  Why not help those who carry the water?!

Will - they got right on it.  This is the response I got from FDIC --

_____________
Mr. Markanich,

Thank you for your interest in doing business with the FDIC.

I have entered information about your company's capabilities into our resource database of potential contractors who may assist FDIC with work related to failing institutions. FDIC may use your submitted information as well as information submitted by other firms to determine which firms will be requested to submit formal proposals should a contracting need arise for services similar to what you provide.  Please be aware that the numbers of firms that are marketing to do business with FDIC is significant.  FDIC does not guarantee that all firms that submit corporate capability information will be included in future requests for proposals.  Nevertheless, all contractors who receive an FDIC contract must be registered in Central Contract Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov

We will see what happens next.  Thanks Will!
