TOPIC: Cool Tools

Cool Tools 15 years 9 months ago #6127

I was at a home Inspection CEU class and one member who has an extensive heating background brought in his seesnake (I know what your thinking) and he said it is great for doing furnace inspections. Also good for fireplace smoke shelves.

I am using my 50 dollar Depot cards and getting one today. It also looks good for doing self colostomy. :)

If you know of any cool tools post here!!

I have been looking at getting one for a while now. Been comparing the Ridgid to the Milwaukee M-12 Spector digital camera. The Milwaukee has a 2x zoom and also has a 12 volt rechargeable lithium battery that last up to 15 hrs before recharging this unit is also at Home depot   $ 50.00 more for the Milwaukee.

I looked at the Milwaukee as it looks good to, but I went with the Rigid.

I look forward to using.

Maybe I will use it on my dog. (Dog is one year old and I usually keep in the cage when I go out) For some reason she has this thing with a stuff Santa. Today its head was torn off and the foot was chewed up.

Just kidding about the dog.

Let us know how it works. I think it would be great for the hard to see items like gas connections at stoves and dryers and even checking out those stove anti-tip devices that we were chatting about in another post. Have fun with it.

I inserted thru a access at my duct work from when they cleaned my ducts. Worked OK!!
Should work nice to insert into the burner areas to get a good look at the heat exchanger. (To bad it does not take pics)

I inserted into my fireplace to look at the smoke shelf. (Need to redo as my fireplace is dirty and I have to repair a loose firebrick(Detected when messing with Seescope)

Works really nice for behind the stove. Great idea.

The one I have came with an additional 6Ft. extension.

Seems like a good tool to carry around and $200 is not a bad price.

Any other ideas for using.

So far.
