TOPIC: What is the deal with the # 1 on google

Google sees bellinspection.com and www.bellinspection.com as two totally different addresses. Add the www and you'll see you have 15. This goes back to the necessity of the 301 redirect I've written articles about in the past. Your Google rank is being split right now which is hurting your actual rank on Google too.

Please forgive me as I am really a dumby when it comes to this stuff.

I wrote what you listed in notepad and saved it as directed. Then I downloaded frizella as an ftp tool. It said that I had a critical file error when trying to upload it.

Any advice?

I did a little research and found out that I can't do a 301 direct with sitebuilder. I went ahead and forwarded bellinspection.com to www.bellinspection.com

Will that take care of my problem. If not what are my other options. I hate to move the site to another provider as I think that would be a lot of work.

Dom, I think I have 2 home pages like you talked about above. Is that hurting my SEO?
When you go to my site from link, the home page shows 24 plus ones. Then after going to another page and clicking back to home it shows 3 plus ones. How do I get rid of the second home page, especially if it's hurting my google SEO. I wanna make sure I lose the home page w/ only 3 clicks, not the one with 24 plus ones.

Joe, all our websites automatically have 301 redirect. What are the two pages (copy the URL here).

Greg, how did you do the forward? That's pretty sad that they don't let you do a 301, they're very important!
