Thanks for the feed back. I have no big problem with my laptop so I can wait.

Hi to all

Tablet is the ONLY way to go.

I did NCR paper when I first got into this gig, went to a laptop then to the tablet.

Let me say this............. the tablet and HIP have shaved off nearly 3/4 of an hour from every inspection.  Develop a template you can work with and build a library of comments for each area.............. inspection is a snap.

I print on site and on to the next one....

NO Homework
Cheers

That's what I like it hear Doug :) What kind of Tablet are you using?

A lot of people don't bother to go through the time of setting up a template for their area or bothering to get used to a Tablet so they never see how much time it can save.

I use the fujitsu T4215 Lifebook.  12 inch screen (cause I'm old and can't see like I used to) and it has a burner in it.  It's a bit more expensive than most , however I have been using it for 3 1/2 years and only just replaced the battery.

I did buy cheaper ones before but they just didn't cut the mustard.  Like my mom used to say "We are too poor to buy cheap."

My advise is to do your research and get the most bang you can get for the buck.

BTW I have a Canon Pixma printer (ip90) that has been working perfectly for 4 years

Hope this helps

Cheers

Louie, I have a Fujitsu as well that's great. I got it at Fry's in Irvine for $1200 and it has a 12" screen. If you want smaller check out the ASUS T91.

Doug, mind if I use your comments on the testimonial page? If so, can you send me a picture of yourself I can put up there?
