I am using windows XP pro and have an issue with the Tool/Task Bar. When adding a quick launch icon to the bar, it doubled itself in width. I now have two task bars instead of one. Does anyone know how to delete one of these bars? I tried right clicking the bar and couldn't find an option to delete one.

Thanks

You talking about the taskbar in the bottom right corner? I'd first try rebooting as that shouldn't be possible. If that doesn't work, right click on the main task bar area and click toolbars and uncheck the task area.

I attached a screen shot of what I am talking about. If you look at the bottom of the screen you can see the double thick (deep) blue task bar with my quick start icons next to the start menu. there is a blue task bar below the start menu that I am trying to get rid of.

You just stretched it. Put your cursor along the top and drag the bar down. Make sure the taskbar is unlocked (right click on it first).

Actually, I had been doing that for like an hour before I posted this here.  >:(  (That's how much it annoys me!) All I can seem to do is make both bars disappear into the bottom of the screen. It seems as if it is all or nothing. I may just resolve to get a life and get over it. There are more important things to be annoyed over. ;D
