I thought this had been fixed but I can't make it work.

I have never been able to center test on my footer.

I select the footer text and hit the center button and it looks fine but when I generate a report it never centers the footer.

Help It just doesn't look the way I want it.

You have to delete the footer.xml in c:\program files\home inspector pro\data (make sure the program is closed first) if you were using the program before we fixed the issue (which you were), then go back in and redo your footer and it will work. The reason it wasn't auto fixed is because we never edit existing files when performing updates.

Tried all that with no success. Now what?

This is the text string that is created when I start over.

You must be pasting into the Footer area as the program can't create class="e" and class="tx". Close HIP, delete that file. Restart HIP and manually type in the text. If you still have problems let me know and we can do a quick remote session when I get back from lunch.

Typing instead of cut and pasting. How last century.

None the less. That did take care of the problem though I had to select 10 pt. instead of 12 pt.(where's 11pt) Times New Roman bold to make it fit.

You could copy and paste through notepad and it'll strip off the formatting from Word or wherever you got it from. Otherwise it includes html code that isn't recognized. This away the agents would only have to fax the summary page to the repair guy and not the whole report to get the pictures. Most inspectors here have there report with summary pictures.
