TOPIC: Using HIP with Inspection notes.

Using HIP with Inspection notes. 15 years 1 month ago #9717

I am curious here as to if there is any systematic way of doing the Inspection and simplicity of downloading that info to making the report once back at the office.

How do you guys do the inspection reporting in the field, that makes rhyme or reason with the software.?

Is their a checklist type of report necessary in the field?

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Marcel  :) :)

Hey Marcel,

Many guys use a laptop or tablet and enter the info directly on site.

If you want to write it out, what guys in your freezing cold region do is click Generate Report to print a blank report with all the sections. Get it laminated and use a grease pen so you can take it outside and write on it. Then take home, enter into computer and wipe clean. There's another post on here where guys talked about this method.

Check out the Beta section and download the latest version (it's been used for awhile now and there's not been any issues). It added 2 more residential templates, another commercial template and a mold template.

Marcel, check out residential template #2 in the new HIP version. The way it is laid out seems faster than other templates. Cheers to Mr. Spriggs for that one.  :)
