TOPIC: Theme 12 question

Theme 12 question 9 years 8 months ago #26883

On my website I changed my theme cover image to one of my own design, but my new one only shows up on firefox.  What gives?

Right click on the page, hold the shift key and click refresh. This will force your browser to update itself and see if there's a new image.

The header looks good by the way!

nope, nothing.  I don't get it.  I've erased cookies and all that stuff too.  Can't figure it out.

I ran it through browsershots.org and it shows correctly in all the browsers. Your browser is definitely storing the image. If you right click on the image and tell it to show in a new tab, does it show correctly?

Thats just it.  It doesn't show any image there.  It's just a big white blank spot where the image should be.  I guess I wont worry about it if it seems to load fine in all the different browsers.

Found a browser that had the problem, found the issue and fixed it. The image was a CMYK format (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) which is meant to send to high end printers. Looks like some versions of Internet Explorer can't display CMYK images properly so I converted it to RGB. Can you see it now?
