A little beard trim, he'll be good as new.
Drew, thanx for the cache cleaning tip.
How is your deal with, is it called Genie Service or Genie magic? When you started a while back you were real happy with them. What's the update? Details, please.

Service Magic is a lead generator, as you probably know. If you are a Nachi member, the sign up is free. I think it costs $99.00 otherwise. You do not pay for a lead until you get it, and some bogus leads are refundable. If the person cancels the job or picks another inspector you still have to pay. You are pooled in with two other inspectors for a "Market Match" lead and by yourself for a "Direct Match" lead. A market match costs 12.00 and a direct match is 18.00.

The key to getting a good deal of leads is to set your monthly spending targets high. Their computer favors those with high spending targets. When the phone rings with a lead, you need to answer it right away. The same lead is going out to two others so the first to reply has the best chance.

Service magic is great for the new guy who has no referral base yet. I have met some good agents and had client referrals from Service Magic clients. Once you get established with your own client/agent base, dump them. You get a good deal of price shoppers with SM and it can be a pain in the arse. It's all about getting your name out there. I have $500/month spending targets and a BIG (three county) coverage area. I still haven't had more than 5 leads a month.

You should expect to land approx. 40% of the leads. unless your line of BS....oops I mean salesmanship is polished.
