TOPIC: How to Add a News Feed to your Website

Re: How to Add a News Feed to your Website 15 years 9 months ago #1676

Me too, it's a good thing to iterate as I've had several inspectors have the same issue and ask me.

REMINDER: If you change the url of your home page you must change it under Site Information as well.

Hey Dominic, Found one of your articles on a more SEO friendly way of actually having a news feed seperate page with the articles showing up on it and the search engine would crawl that information. I have the news feeds set to the left side block and I am using a feed from a specific minneapolis and Saint paul feed. But I would like to put a separate page and have the titles and wordage appear on that page. I am having the hardest time. I tried what I thought was a link you had to help but I got an error. I saw something about php. or something needed from a file that needed to be uploaded. Is there a way to make a seperate page with its own feed or do they have to be under the news section? Thanks

Hey Dominic how do you add a news video to the web site? There is one that I would like to add from the early show.

Those articles aren't for HIP website users, they're for everyone else. All you need to do is click on News in your menu, click on Sources and click the Source you want. Then copy the URL of that page and you can make a direct link to it under Menu's
