TOPIC: Summary Section

Summary Section 6 years 6 months ago #63905

First am I missing something or is there no way to search the forums now?

Question: Is there an option within HIP to print photos within the summary portion of the report?

On the photo editing page there is a block to check to include that photo in the summary.

Hi Mark - thanks for the reply. I forgot about that check box, but I'd like to set it globally as a default if I could and I don't think that is an option currently.

To be honest, we've never had anyone want to print all photos at the back before that I can remember. Normally people print photos within each section of the report to make it easier for clients to read. What's the reasoning behind putting every photo at the end?

Client doesn't want to share the whole report, only the summary...Seller wants to see photos..

Would it upset the apple cart completely if we didn't use "Black" and "Red" to describe the damage panel selection categories? The fact of the matter is that "Black" isn't in the summary and "Red" is, but not all of us may be using black and red text here.

Dom would it be terribly difficult to have the comments that are placed in those damage panel boxes displayed in the color that is selected in the report formatting settings?

I have the color blue selected for my "serious damage font" and it does print in blue, but the screen shows it in red. Since my Clients and Realtors alike are looking for a summary of observations, whatever they may be in lieu of a purely satisfactory comment, I've changed my serious damage font to blue and am using the advanced color option to override the blue to make the most serious observations red. The problem is that it gets confusing on the desktop version when everything in the "red" panel is colored red.

In the mobile app it would be nice to have the template settings prevail and control these colors in the same way, it'd also be nice to see the advanced color options instead of having to look for the pipes ( ||1|| ). ... ... ...could you also include an inspector with each purchase of HIP?? That'd be cool too.... LOL
