Sorry Jeffrey, I've been trying to work out a few other small bugs but the Texas Conference this week slowed things down. I hope to get it resolved this weekend.

Darn We here at old timers, wished that when we bought HIP we would not have to be programmers or experts in Photoshop or Windows and maybe PDF editors.  I guess I am just lost with the added features.  My stationary was over ridden with the HIP information, so it was not what I wanted to send to a client.  Went back to a Word document to give my client a professional report. I was looking for a way to cut down on time to write a report. I'm still at around 3 - 4 hours with the word doc.  Many of the HIP narratives are individual to a specific inspection. I expected more general all encompassing narratives.  Guess I see if Kenton has some examples for his narratives and may buy them.

Terry, the HIP stationery is a unique feature that only HIP has. No one is forced to use it by any stretch! A PDF editor cannot design anything. They're meant to edit text, not do graphics. You can create stationery with a program like Word, Photoshop, GIMP or many other programs. Or you can have someone make it for you. Stationery is exactly like physical paper stationery. Things from HIP print on top of it. If there's something that's being overwritten you can turn it off in HIP if you don't want that text or move your stationery around.

I'm not sure what good vague narratives would be? Every inspectors has a different way of writing things so HIP's default templates include comments for many different regions. You can delete any you don't want to do or add your own of course. There's also over 2 dozen templates here on the forum that users have shared that you can use as well.

Thanks Dominic
I am getting better at it.  Used it on the last two reports.  My editor thought it was real nice.  So I will just shut my mouth till I have worked through, or watched the tutorials on the parts of HIP I don't understand.
