TOPIC: NiFast Template

Drew,
Please do not let my impatience be the reason you boil!  ;D  Have a great vacation, assuming you can get to your destination...I hear some of Minnesota's snow has bypassed us and made it's way to you!

Here is a first draft of the NiFAST SOP. It is released for discussion only and is not official yet. Once we get it in a final form, I will turn it into an HIP template.

Please comment on the SOP. Tell us what you think is missing, or could be better. Keep in mind this will be a minimally invasive inspection. For example, you will need to remove a smoke or C/O detector to determine its age from the information on the back.

I just took a glance over the SOP, looks pretty inclusive.  I've got some questions/thoughts, but I don't have my NiFAST stuff right in front of me now.  Looks good so far, like it should be more than $100 for an inspection!

First thought while reading, was, how in hell will I remember all of this?
Maybe this is one that should be in a check list format during the inspection.

Would look good as a manual too.

Marcel, if you download Drew's HIP fire inspection template, it covers pretty much everything on the SOP.  He's outdone himself with these 2 things, I say!

I did Casey, but this last SOP is way more comprehensive than the template. It appears anyways.
Maybe it's because it is more broken up in the template. Just looked at it again.
I am just trying to figure out how to remember all in case we have to eventually do it in the field. 

Check list for field use to make the reporting more accurate and easier might be helpful with all this.

Just a thought.
