Doh, were you removing those manually each time they weren't in the report? That will cut some time off your reports!

No, it is just a feature I did not know was there.

I wonder what other areas of the program I can edit to enhance my reports, time.

Have a few time savers coming up in the next version, but look around under Report Settings->Options that's where most of the report item changes are.

Dom,
What David is talking about--I think--is having a dynamic numbering system so each item under each Main Section has a running sequential numbering.  So, for example if, in the EXTERIOR section, there are ten items, then if the next main Section is ROOFING, the first item in Roofing would be #11.  Now, this would have to be built by the program each time you print--as we add or subtract items from each section as applicable.  I belive, David adds a REMARKS section after the end of his Report and he wants to refer back to the numbered items that apply to each Remark. This is similar to the AHIT reporting system.

The problem I see with this is--I, for example, do not have the same number of items on each my reports—each report may be  different.  See the Attached latest NOVAhi Report I did today—as you can see in the EXTERIOR section the "Grading, Surface Drainage" is item #13 in the previously posted sample report BUT it is #11 in this new report. So having remarks refer to each item # would have to change from report to report.

I believe that David was/or is using the same number and names of Items for each and every one of his reports.   HMMM   … I have to think about this some more........

I had this set up with Inspect It for awhile and it was pretty good!!

Now it would not work if I was to have different numbers on every report.

It is just a thought.

I need to redo my binder package and remarks in the near future and I am just getting ideas.

I do believe to save money I may just burn CD's instead of the binder package. I need to try out on a few clients first.

I'm starting to see. What was in the remarks section at the end of the report that could not go into the actual section of the report now?
