TOPIC: Support columns work best at an angle!

Support columns work best at an angle! 14 years 6 months ago #20698

While doing an inspection under a moble home today, this is what I saw when I opened the crawlspace door. Needles to say, i did not spend much time looking for minor things. I found plenty in 5 minutes. The water coming under the house had erroded the soil so badly many of the piers had started to tilt. A trailer can't stay together without these.

Hey at least they are turned the right direction!  Almost every time I see cinder block being used around here the holes are turned sideways or they are standing on end.   ::)
