Hey Bill,

Right now you actually can only have one contract in the program right now. I'm working on rewriting the contract section so the contract is actually template specific. What the guys are doing right now is one of two things. Just copying the template from a text document if you need a different contract. Or just rename the files in C:\Program Files\Home Inspector Pro\Data\Contract.xml to something else like MoldContract.xml, and then change it to Contract.xml and load the program. I will try to get this feature into the version after next as I have huge feature to finish in the next version (photo slideshow within each section in the program).

After thinking about this some more, it makes more sense to just make the contract save with the template, that way each template has 1 contract. It wouldn't be too difficult to setup. Does anyone see a reason why a specific template would need more than one contract?

So the two possible methods here are:

A. Ability to change contracts just like you can change documents in the edit document section and just choose your contract.

B. Just save each contract in the corresponding template file.

Votes? Opinions?

My contracts are all completed as for content and I just removed the bottom that i had for signing because hip puts that in.
A checkbox for printing would be great, some times i do a inspection and mould ,IAQ is also done at the same time so I would need to have both printed for signing and can do the reports as two templates.
Same for commercial I would need my ancillary agreements IE thermal, IAQ and the commercial would all be melded into the full contract.

When you meld contracts together do you literally just paste one right after another? It definitely sounds like the 1 template = 1 contract wouldn't work in your case, so I'll pursue the other method. Rather than checkboxes, which if you just had multiple contracts, which had the different combinations that you would use. That way it could work exactly like the edit documents.
