TOPIC: Combining Templates

Hi Dom,

I'm trying to add page/tabs/info from one template to another and am not sure how to do it. Can you give me step by step directions of what I have to do.

Hi Steve,

With older versions of the program you could open two copies of the program side by side and copy the comments from one template to another. I made some changes in recent versions in order to speed up the program that actually makes this a risky thing to do though. I plan on making adjustments soon to make this safer again. Right now the templates open to the same folder so if you save in the wrong order you can mess up your template. So I'd say avoid it for the next week until I have time to look at it further.

Thanks for the info. Actually, I figured out how to do it. Not side by side... that would have been faster, but I did it by:

1. Create tabs in templat to receive info, save.
2. Open template with info I want.
3. Copy info I want.
4. Open target template.
5. Go to desired tab, Paste info, save template.
6. Repeate above steps as many t imes as necessary.

That would be much safer at this point, thanks for pointing that out. I'll work on the side by side later this week.
