TOPIC: Doing a report in Spanish

I have dotted Spanish on the languages tab and everything is still English.
Is there a way to get the reports to create in both languages?

Hi Tom,

The Spanish on the language tab is only to change to a Spanish spell checker. The program will not translate for you. You need to know Spanish and enter the comments in Spanish. It is too much of a liability for any software program to automatically translate your comments. While translation programs are pretty good, one small mistake or minor difference would be a huge liability on an inspection report where you're describing safety hazards and other problems.

What I was really looking for was templates already set up in spanish with Spanish comments, not so much a translator.

I was thinking that when I hit the Spanish tab it would go over to one in Spanish

I sent an email to the author of the Spanish sample report, so far no response.

If anyone else has one I would appreciate it. It would take me forever to make one.

Hey Tom,

Now I understand. I've asked a few of the guys that I've seen do them in Spanish to share them but haven't had any luck yet. You could definitely setup a template based on the sample report online to at least get all your sections and items within the section setup. You can even copy and paste the titles. It would probably take a few hours but you'd get to know the program much better. I'll email the guys in the US and Mexico again to see if they'll share.
