Are you asking what a favicon is? The short answer is that it is a small 16x16 icon that shows up in the address bar of the browser as well as in the bookmark list. See the colorful black icon in the address bar for this site? That is a favicon.

The easiest way to create one is to do a Google search for favicon and then use one of the many free online tools. Once completed you will be saving a .ico file that you can then upload to your HIP hosted site via the Theme Configuration section. I believe it is called "shortcut icon" in that area; I will need to look again to be sure. After the upload, when a person visits your site that icon will be next to your URL address and if they add you to their bookmarks it will be there as well.
