Testing a shower pan for a builder's warranty is great.  If it leaks, the builder is responsible.  If you are doing an inspection for a buyer, the seller may be ticked if you cause the drywall on the ceiling below to get soggy.  Do you guys test shower pans if the ceiling below is finished?

I'm on Jays side here. Get a bar of soap out and hop in. Bert, I actually become more suspicious of the pan if the ceiling below is finished, especially if it looks newer.
