You  know what would really PI$$ OFF the Democrats...

Bush should resign  now.

Then Dick Cheney becomes President (that would really PISS OFF  the liberals)!!!

Then he appoints Condoleeza Rice as  VP.

Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, A  Republican,
becomes the first BLACK President and the first WOMAN  President !!!

LOL funny thought but that's not the chain of command.  Speaker of the house is third in line.  The idea is funny though.

How Carl says it is how the Constitution stipulates that it would happen.  It already has - Ford/Rockefeller.  The Speaker only becomes Pres if the two in front die or become mentally incapacitated.

With two years left I suggested to my kids that Bush appoint Condie VP, saying that Cheney has heart issues and needs to rest.  Then with one year left he should resign saying that Condie is ready to carry the torch and he and Laura need family time...

Then Condie in turn should appoint a woman VP, and roll forward.

They thought I was crazy.

Condie, however, has other ideas anyway.  She wants to be Commissioner of Baseball.  Would that be cool or what!?
