TOPIC: Bonding question

Bonding question 14 years 9 months ago #15053

I inspected another house with a pushmatic panel. It might just be me but I can never seem to find the bond in these panels. There is a sub panel with a bond. My question is this. Is the subpanel having the bond proper? Or does it have to be in the main panel? My thought it is that it should be in the main panel.

Does anyone else have trouble finding bonds in the pushmatic panels?

Are you confusing grounds and bonds?  Grounds are found in the main panel, bonds are found in the sub panels.

No I do not think so. There should not be a bond in a sub panel. The bond should be in main panel. I posted this on NACHI, here is the link. www.nachi.org/forum/f19/bonding-issue-40624/

Okay I see saw the pic and got an understanding of what you were saying.  Joe answered it clearly.

As for my statement earlier, I didn't say what I meant to say correctly.  I think you picked up on that!  lol  ;)
