on desktop is it possible to modify the picture captions pull down to select 2 or more descriptions

No, there's no multi select on drop downs. Captions are usually short and sweet though, what are you trying to do?

just trying to ad some different ideas and verbage to my caption .. for example if i have with cracks , deterioration and settlement i can pick one , two or all three of these comments ,, i guess a work around is just put in comment and then go to caption selection and select the comment as the caption ... it helps some times when you use multiple pics with several issues

Would adding Lists into Captions help too?

or...list one [ Living room window ]
list two [ right side ]
