When I click on the actual link that says: visit Denver....everything works fine but when I click on Denver's Best Home Inspection, it comes up as page not found.  Where did I go wrong?

You have a space at the beginning and end of the URL (represented by the + sign). Click on Content in your admin menu, filter weblinks then find David's and remove the spaces from the URL.

Four website driven calls this week.  Didn't land one, though.  My question to everyone linking... How steeply do we have to discount our services to land these price shoppers?  I know they are shopping price because they tell me. I have offered discounts.  Probably not enough.  Any thoughts?

Personally, I don't give discounts to "price shoppers". As you have found, it doesn't work enough to make it worth while, IMHO. I say, determine the price range in your area and price yourself in the middle or upper middle, then do a better job than your competition.  It may take a little longer, but you will end up doing more business in the long run.  Remember, it is easy to lower a price, but really hard to raise it.  BTW, in my area, I get a lot of referrals from Realtors and they talk to each other, so I make sure NOT to give them a discount until I have received a lot of work from them, otherwise your "discount price" will become your normal price once they have all talked to each other about you.

Good points.  I don't want the "low price" reputation. Prior to ramping up my newly linked and optimized web site almost all of my business was client and agent referral.  Been at it for four years. No discounting needed (most of the time, anyway).  Just the way I like it.  But I am finding that there is a definite pattern with the web generated calls.  Price seems to be king with these shoppers.   I keep them on the phone with the whole benefit and features speech and why I am wonderful but, so far, it seems to come down to price.  I guess I just have to do a better job of selling.

Eric, if they're shopping, they don't want the best inspection possible.  I know all about price shoppers here lately, it seems that's all the calls I'm getting.  I've not dropped my prices, and I make sure I mention all the benefits clients receive from me, refer them to my Client Testimonial page, and the fact that a home inspection is about 1/10th the cost of the home they're looking at buying.  And that their agent is likely getting 4% (or more) commission on the sale.  If you can get them to understand the VALUE they get from you vs. your competition, it's a lot easier to sell them.

I don't get it.  I checked it out but I don't see spaces nor + signs.  I deleted the info and re-entered but the same result.
