It appears that the upload server poops out on Saturdays. I have tried to upload reports on Saturdays and I get the I cannot connect message. Dominic had to re-boot the server last time and I think that it needs re-booting again, today.  I cannot upload my reports.  I am sure that this does not happen every Saturday and it probably is because the server does an end-of-week backup and then just sighs and says that it isn't going to do anymore...Ha Ha...Servers are stingy and self-centered Roll Eyes

Hey Robert,

Actually you're pretty spot on. I'm actually running backups every 4 hours right now and found that after each backup the tomcat service (which is what receives the reports) was locking up due to low memory on one of the server. I had set the service to automatically restart itself after each backup and hadn't had a problem the last few days but now it seems something else is going on. I'm looking at the issue now as it looks like it tried to restart but didn't finish. This will be a fun day, I love fix server issues :|

Ok, manually restarted now and working. I'll be looking into why it didn't restart automatically here in a bit. Go ahead and try uploading and see if it works ok for you.

Ok, good. I'm still investigating why exactly it stops working. The server company is looking at it too. I'll be purchasing a few new servers this week as well so the problem might go away just from that. For now I'll keep an eye on the uploads. If anyone notices a problem, let me know. These things are a pain to track when you can't replicate it on your own.

Hi Guys,

Has anyone else had issues with uploading since last week? It looks like the problem came down to me needing to allow the server program to utilize more ram for when multiple people were uploading at once. Let me know!
