Summary Page & Ratings

I've never been a fan of the "summary" page. I know the client does not read the complete report, but if they just look at the summary, they never look at the total report until something goes wrong. I stopped adding a summary a long time ago and no one complained and I've had fewer phone calls about someting in the report that they would have read except for the summary. I guess I'm force feeding them to read the complete report.

Just my humble opinion guys.

That being said, is their a way to remove the summary page ?

Is there a way to remove the ratings and boxes from an existing template or do I have to create a new template ?

Hi Dan,

You can remove or change the ratings at any time, just go to Report Settings->Ratings and uncheck the ratings box.

For the time being you can't remove the summary, but it is something on our list to add in the future version. What you can do under Report Settings->Options is tell the program to print the summary page at the end of the report. Then it's not the main focus.

What do you mean by can't remove the summary Dom.

You can rename to something like the word thank you and not print defect comments into it.

I did that at the beginning before I started liking the summary.

The touchscreen worked great at the show. Everyone was coming over to play with it and test out the program and the websites on it.
