Earlier this morning we had 8" on the ground of what is expected to be 20-24". My Jack Russell was very upset because it was so deep she could not use the toilet! So I had to create her a bathroom - heah 'tis...

I have shoveled the same spot three times today, enlarged it and it has been used all day long. Of course, the rug got it once too, but I wasn't around to see it.
We have lots of wind and drifting snow. Looks like over 20" but it is hard to tell. West of us they got 36" in a couple of areas.
This photo was taken about 1pm, and it is supposed to snow another 6" tonight.

You need to go out and light the grill and melt some of the snow.
Nothing like getting a winters worth of snow in one storm.
We just got the edge. 1 inch.

Couldn't open the door! It was packed against and all that snow would have come into the family room and onto the carpet. Not happening... There was so much wind it is hard to know how much snow we got, but I think it was between 28 -30".
Here, this one was taken the next day when I shoveled a path for the dog to get out back. Yes, I had to shovel it all off the door too. That is the door they were trying to bump a couple of nights ago...

Yeah, and the dogs can't get out! We were using the basement door, which was getting old real quick, going down there 5 or 6 times a day to let the dogs out.
