Besides performing a general inspection what other services do you offer?
I really want to add as many additional services for my clients.
I am licensed for radon and WDI pest.
I have the Master Inspector and Angies super service awards.
I recently started doing the Move in Certified Inspections.
I want to add Iac2 Mold, Thermal imaging, energy, green building, septic and well to my services.
I lose inspections due to not providing well, septic and mold.
I really want to do energy, thermal and green as a package.
What additional service has benefited you the most?

I do radon, lead, mold, energy, thermal imaging, green building, well and septic.
Of them all, the thermal imaging is the most profitable. I bought my device (RAZ-IR) almost 4 years ago (it was much more expensive then!) and, with excellent marketing (pat, pat myself), it paid for itself in a few months. I get a couple a week.

Jay
What training did you do for the thermal and mold.
What training did you do for the energy.
In regards to the mold what type of sampling and what is your typical price.
Also what is your charge for the thermal?
If you were closer I would hire you to do a energy, mold and thermal just to watch you in action and learn.

Checkenzie mis websiterfunken...
I got the energy through CMC Energy Services, Inc. $250 - $300 depending on distance.
The thermal I read books and played with the device for a while. This summer I got "certified" through INACHI, with John McKenna, in Atlanta. I charge $400 for a single system, $550 for two systems (say roof and plumbing).
Mold through ESA Environmental Solutions - $50 per swab and $100 for air (minimum two locations).

David - if we lived closer together, we could go out inspecting and learn from each other! No charge one to another!

picked up another roof IR today, its an apartment complex, two buildings, each 400 feet long 45 feet each side 6/12 pitch 38 feet high to gutter. Will do the IR portion in 4 hours coupled with visual, another hour on drip edges for each total 6 hour inspection time an hour to put the report together and emailed away.

Very nice! I'd like to see the report with the IR in it when you're done.
