would a water tower inspection be a commercial property inspection or something a structural engineer should do?

Hmm, I would think that would be something a structural engineer needs to check out. Unless it's something you know a lot about, it could have problems that you don't even know exist.

I agree with Dom, I think I would refer that one to someone else, unless you fel comfortable doing it and have a background in this sort of thing. Just my opinion.

I passed on this inspection, suggested they contact an engineer.
