I've seen 3 bedroom, 1600 sqft short sales going for $60k in Fontana. I'm sure not as nice an area as Lake Forest obviously. Sad that she lost the place.

So you going to come in September as well? What does it hurt to go to Vegas twice in 6 months?

The event has nothing to do with NACHI. It's being put on by the guys who sold ITA 6 years ago to Kaplan who are actually past CREIA presidents. They are now out of their non-compete contract and starting up their conferences again. Since ITA is no longer having conferences they are filling that spot. It's one of the only non association run conferences you'll go to.  But there are a lot of associations attending.

Mike C said NACHI is close to approving for 15 CEU's and ASHI should be the same. Once ASHI confirms I'll register.

Just spoke to Mike Casey earlier today on email and he advised that they are sending the application and supporting documents to ASHI so that they can provide the 15 CEU's and then 4 more for the Claims class.  That is great and looking forward to it.

Ok, just got word from Kevin. If you register soon then you get the claims class on the 23rd for free (before it cost extra as the core conference was the 21st & 22nd).

We've finalized the details for the search engine optimization/website/Home Inspector Pro class. It's going to be 9am to 2pm on the 20th, and it'll be FREE. So basically if you register soon you'll get 4 days of classes and credit for the cost of 2.

I agree with Bob.  Where are all the homeinspectors who are looking to get their businesses growing and meeting with Dominic to help.  This is going to be a great conference with loads of new information and help from Dom.

I've gotten quite a few emails in response from the blast I sent out from guys saying they are coming. Some of the other guys are worried about funds and are waiting to see how the next month or two goes. I'll be sending out another announcement regarding this soon!

We can appreciate that, but as we found out last year at ITA, you will learn better how to run a business and earn more money.  I hope that they come and make this a complete success.

Seems as though much of the program is identical or at least very similar to the CE offerings at the last ITA show.  Not of much value to me personally.  I'm not interested in the claims, insurance and or energy survey offerings as they do little to generate revenue for experienced inspectors.  I don't perform field service inspections for the very same reason, (Low Revenue).  I'm hoping the ASHI Expo in January will bust out some new product and offerings from an education point of view.

It's similar to ITA because these guys owned ITA before they sold it to Kaplan. Now that ITA is no longer doing conferences and Kevin & Mike are out of their non-compete they are restarting their shows. The ASHI conference rejected my entry to give a talk on website optimization saying they had someone last year and don't want to have it twice in a row.

LOL, we can definitely try. Unfortunately there won't be as much time to talk as you guys only have an hour here and there. But I'll still impart as much info on you as I can! There will be a lot more hippies at the COA conference though. But I know some guys have said they're going to both (another excuse to go to Vegas I guess!)
