Hi guys and Dominic. Looks like whatever I did seems to be working on Google.

I just punched in what people would google looking for a home inspector.

Page 1 works for me and #1 in front of my competition also works for me.

Got an inspection for Saturday, but don't know if it came from the website or referral yet.

45 miles away, brought the price up by $20 more than the last one in the same area and they took it.

Could be a referral. I will find out.

Now I am worried about adding more content. Getting to fancy or too much material might hurt me.
Population is small up here and not too many fancy sites or extra load sites.
If simple works, I might be better to leave it the way it is.

Good stuff.  Encouraging for me as well.  I have been at it for just over a week; I googled
Kitchener Home Inspector, and it came on page 5.  I don't think that is too shabby.

I think that for any business, you need to know your target client. If your prospective clients are simple, not flashy, no frills kinda folk, then that is what you should portray, only one step higher. You want them to feel comfortable on your site, so they will perceive that they will be comfortable working with you. The one step higher is so they perceive you as the professional that they are not. There is nothing that says you have to do anything to your site. It is an extension of yourself. What feels right for you, is what you should do. And whatever that is, just make sure you follow "Dom's Rules" for best SEO.

Marcel, add to your photo galleries and blogs. Those can always be expanded without making your site too busy. And of course exchange links. Otherwise your competition will catch up with you.
