Totally rotten fascia , rake, and wood siding due to long time vine cover on a home.
The picture shows a closeup of the damage on the exterior.

Yeah that's pretty bad. How long do you think the vines have been there? I've seen vines on different structures but never problems like that.

Yeah theve been there a while i bet. You can see the vines that were there were killed, the home was built in 1930's. It would seem that the vines were there for half the life of the home- some of the lower stems were the size of my wrist or more in thickness.

I make vegetation comments often on my reports. People think it looks stately, but it is quite detrimental to the house!

Joe, can I get a few of those pics for my own refrence book that I have to show clients what can happen if they do not follow through with recommendations.
