Hi Guys,

I was thinking about the bulk photo add today. Should I have the bulk add NOT put a photo into the first slot, the one meant for the cover page? Obviously you can just make sure the first photo you take is the front of the house, but it seems that it might be easier just to skip that spot and allow yourself to add the photo in. Then you can just remove it from wherever it happened to lie within the bulk add.

Let me know your thoughts.

I think I'm going to be adding a few more options to bulk add. After talking to some of the guys doing IR. I'm going to add a mode where it inserts a photo in every other section so that you can bulk add the normal photos then have a slot next to it open for it IR photos.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get the ability to skip the cover photo slot in the beta version I'm working on right now and try to work on the IR (skip every other slot) as well.

The guys who do infrared are often using 2 different cameras. They have a camera that takes normal photos and a camera that takes infrared photos. In the report you are going to want the photos to appear side by side. Obviously you could sit there and use the add photo button one by one, add a normal photo, add an infrared photo & repeat.

What I'm going to do is add an option to bulk import to only add photos to the left side of the photo panels (slot 1,4). That way you could then come back and click add photo for the slots on the right side, choose your infrared view that matched up and add it.

Does that make sense?

Finished the feature up. I think it will be very helpful to people with IR cameras.

I think "skip first photo" is a very good feature, I quite often take a few shots of different things, including "cover shot", and prefer  to select the one I like the most.

By the way, I just bulk loaded 201 photos, it took less than 1 minute!!!

WOW!!!

One more thing, how do I change the size of the font on the forum pages? It is so big that only about 25 letter fit on a line and I end up having to scroll like crazy to read anything.

Steven,

WOOOOOOOW. 201 Photos, you're a wild man! I remember the first itteration of the bulk photo add that it went pretty slow on your computer for 40 photos. I'm glad that the latest version made it so much faster!

I'm glad you like the skip first photo feature.

I just tried internet explorer and firefox and I dont see that problem at all. Jump onto live chat at some point and I'll do a remote connection and see what's up with your computer. I'm assuming since no one else had pointed that out either.
