Ok one more.

How about two or three more spaces on the Clint info section to record:

1. Paid - yes/no
2. Payment method
3. Check #

Or just build a small section below the client info dedicated to invoice info. It could include the above info plus payments made & dates, services rendered, etc. I know the desire is to keep HIP strictly inspection software, but it's a chore to keep records of all this stuff a second time somewhere else.

Relative to items c) and d) in #237 below...

The highlighting and un-highlighting seems to work ok for regular comments, but when I select an item from a dropdown list it doesn't come back highlighted.

Yes.  Say, for example, I have a drop-down list for appointment times.  If I open the list, select one, then click ok, it does not come back highlighted. Works the same in PC or iMAC versions.  Thanks

I would love to be able to review all the documents at once and be able to check which ones I want included in the report....similar to the way section print order works now.....right now I must select each one individually, look to see if it's included then select the next document and so on until I go through the whole list on every report which is time consuming for me as I choose different documents  to include in various reports.

Yes, I use that all the time.  Also, at least on my iMac, double clicking before ctrl-c automatically selects an entire word - really useful for transferring thing like model and serial numbers.

I need the ability to run searches in HIP. For example, I would like to be able to select a realtor and create a report of all inspections I have done for that realtor. Oftentimes I want to know where, when, and for whom I did inspections for a particular buyers realtor.

I agree that this would be a handy function to have in HIP.  However, I can pretty much can do the same thing through the scheduling service I use

Yup,  this can be done via our ISN integration.

I don't use scheduling software, so that solution does not work for me. Is the ISN integration an additional charge? If not,  I would like to learn how to use it.

ISN and other scheduling solutions will charge you a few $ per inspection for their services.  However, it goes beyond just "scheduling";  based on my experience, using a scheduling service to communicate with clients and realtors has been the biggest time-saver I have ever discovered.  Absolutely worth the small cost and worth considering!

A wish....
It is very easy to change the template especially if you are transferring data from one computer to another. What I would like to see is a lock that can be placed on a template so it can not be changed unless you remove the lock for that specific template.  It is so easy to hit Save Template on one computer but then you won't have it on the other computer unless you move it over to that computer for the next inspection.  If the template was locked so it could not be changed easily then you could change the report as needed without the worry of accidentally saving the report.

Scott, what kinds of things are you changing that you don't want to affect your template?
