Theme 10 Help

I am a novice when it comes to website design. I could use some help with my website. I have watched the tutorials but still having trouble. I am using Theme 10 and cannot get my phone number and in the to display on on the top of webpage using "Mission" box under Site Information. I am logged in as the administrator. I have more questions, but will start here

Hi Brian,

Click on Themes, Click Configure next to Theme 10 and make sure that Mission Statement is checked and it will print.

However, can I place the "Call (817) 721-4778 for an appointment today!" under the slogan section "It's Not Just A Home Inspection, It's An Education" in Header section of webpage? If so, how do you center, change fonts, ect.

Hi Brian,

Yes you can. You'll need to use blocks. Go back into the Configure page and uncheck the site name & slogan and add everything into one block including what you just add. Make sure to add something like "Performing Home Inspections in a,b,c,d and surrounding areas" as well.

Tried the changes, froze up my website, missing quite abit of information. No way to get back to administrator menu. Not sure what happened.

Hey Brian,

Your header block had a bunch of extra lines in it. This happens sometimes from time to time when a plug-in conflicts with the page editor. I just went directly to your block page: http://www.wall2wallhomeinspections.com/admin/build/block and edited the block for your header (note: this only works because you're still logged in).

You can go ahead and continue working on it. If you continue to have problems, make sure you don't have multiple browser windows open while you're working on your site and turn off any plugins you have running.

I think I've caused enought troble for one day. I'm signing off for the night and will get after this webpage business Saturday. Gotta a busy Friday with home inspections. That's a good thing!
