1998 Ford Expedtion, she's a bit of a gas guzzler...but I own her!
Plenty of room for my tools and ladders and on occasion a place to review the report with the client with plenty of elbow room!
I saw on NachiTV a company has built "the Ultimate Home Inspector Vehicle", the thing was like a mini-bus with all the gadgets for only, I think it was close to $100,000.00

I use a 2007 Chevy Silverado.
I have a ladder rack on top in case I need a 24 ft. ladder. I have a truck cap to keep my stuff dry.
Works well. Gets me were I need to be.
I saw the Nachi post to about the Ultimate vehicle. Must be nice to have 65K.

I just checked out the Ultimate Truck site and inquired it is 65 grand for a new one. He has a used 2007 with 70,000 mi. on it for 55g's.  You still need to outfit it with compters, printers, ect.  |

I have an 2002 GMC Sierra extended cab 4x4 w/ a cap to keep all equipment dry. I have an inspection tomorrow and we are expecting 6-10" of snow so having the 4 wheel drive will be nice. I have it because that is what I had before I got into this line of work. Eventually would like to get something smaller (better on gas) Eventually the gas prices will be back to $4.00+ a gallon.

The new Avalanches are nice 4 door, waterproof cover over the bed and 4wd. A bit pricey new though. They have that active fuel management system turning eight in four until you need the power.

Funny thing it's supposed to be built down south were you guys are I think Alabama or something. Sort of reminds of a those home delivery milk trucks as well. Hey when not doing an inspection I'll sell ice cream on the side. lol
