I am not sure what is happening but my Mac does not create a pdf. I have been emailing it to another machine without the upgraded version on HIP and sending it from there, but thats getting old.

Anyone know how I can fix this glitch?

Are you getting an error message of any sort? What version of Mac and what version of HIP are you running?

It says  "It can not be opened. It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn?t recognize."

Install Adobe Reader on the computer and see if it will open. Also, try removing your logo under Report Settings->Company Logo. You may have a corrupt image or an image in CMYK format there causing an issue.

Tried both and neither worked.

I am using a mac to create the inspection, then I do the inspection on a slate, then back to Mac for the final product. This never happened before I did the last upgrade. Maybe that will help.

Okay, found the problem when you sent the file to me. Change the Adobe Arabic font that you have under Report Settings->Formatting (in a few spots) to something else. The Adobe fonts are not able to be directly embedded into PDF's and because of that won't work with HIP (for now). I had to make a few changes to make HIP work in other languages like Czech, Russian, Chinese, etc and that caused this. I thought it only affected Helvetica font but it looks like it affects some of these Adobe fonts too.
