Hello to all. I am new to Home Inspector Pro and am trying to create a template which looks similar to the previous reporting layout I had been using (.pdf documents created in Open Office).

I am slowly getting things where I want them, but I am having trouble figuring out if it would be possible to have a page which basically has one sentence at the top ("For the purposes of this report, the front of the house designated by the front entry door faces XXXX.") in which I can change the last word of the sentence, with four pictures under the sentence: one each of the front, back, left, and right sides of the home.

I have attached the template I am working on, a sample report created using that template, and an old inspection report which shows what I am trying to replicate. The page I am referring to is page 3 of the attached report. I would like to have it be the third page of my new template.

Is it possible to do what I am looking to do? Thanks!

Tom, can you please generate a report from the HIP program / template you are putting together.  I am willing to comment but don't want to import other's templates or report files into my system.

From what I see you had in the old report, just create a page with one damage panel.  Name it exterior photos.  Install a "list" that has  the sentence you want for each compass direction so it looks like this for each of choices.

[[NORTH]]For the purposes of this report, the front of the house ? designated by the front entry door ? faces North.
[[SOUTH]]For the purposes of this report, the front of the house ? designated by the front entry door ? faces South.

etc.  When you move the list to Black, you can choose which direction you want.  It will show at the top.
You can then annotate your four pictures with the directions you want.

Exactly what Stephen said! Create a damage panel, assign pics.

Thank you both for your help.

I have uploaded a .pdf of what I have done today. I created a new page with one damage panel and created a list for the directions the house can face.

Is there a way to remove the ratings on that page without removing the ratings from the rest of the report?

Thank you again for your help. I'm slowly getting the hang of this, but I'll get there.

Hi Tom,

Ratings are only associated with Damage Panels. So normally you could just use a selection panel, but photos only go with damage panels too. So in this section you'll end up just clicking none.
